Clinical Development

Together, we turn science fiction into reality

We use ground-breaking science to create life-saving medicine.

We’ve set ourselves a pretty revolutionary goal; to create medicines which will transform the lives of patients everywhere.

It’s this purpose which drives our Clinical Development teams. We’re working side-by-side, every day to advance our early pipeline programmes into clinical studies and make them viable for the commercial market. And we’re focusing our efforts on treating cancers that currently have high unmet needs. So if you have the persistence, dedication and expertise to make a real difference, we’re sure there will be the right role for you.

We’re persistent and passionate

The clinical development journey takes us from the lab to patients and back again. We can do this any number of times, where iteration and optimisation are our buzz words. Can we consistently break new ground? Can we stabilise it each time? Can we process, manufacture it and ultimately deliver it safely, ethically and against scrutiny, to save lives? Our investors and the media talk mainly of ‘cures’, but we deal in a commodity shared by everyone, time. One more Christmas, one more birthday with our family – those are things that matter to our number one stakeholder, patients.

"It’s an exciting team to work in and we get to contribute to a wide range of activities across the company. There’s never a dull moment and with the success of the pipeline and support of on-going clinical products, our workload increases on a daily basis."

Emma Baston

CMC Development Team

"It’s a fantastic place to work, not only because the technology is “cool” and cutting edge, but because I work with an incredible group of people. Immunocore support me in my decisions, balancing what is best for my development path with the company’s needs and opportunities."

Joseph Dukes

Director of Biology and Program Lead GSK1

"It was the combination of cutting edge science, the advancing pipeline, and the opportunity to help shape the future growth of the company and program leadership that drew me to this role."
